Nice copy. Black and white detailed illustrations.
I purchased this book as a supplemental tool for our homeschool study of Botany by Apologia. We read two chapters a day during our read-aloud time and it is really helpful in putting what we are learning in the context of a story. The children don't see it as more science study but just as a story. I've come to really enjoy Margaret Morley's books and would personally be interested in reading her other books for adults.
We are enjoying this book as a family. i
